Roadmap to Breastfeeding Success (Program in development)
There are predictable developmental events in a child's life from birth to age one which can impact breastfeeding. Research confirms that women frequently stop breastfeeding when they misinterpret or struggle with these events:
  • Crying changes at 2-weeks-old
  • Changing light and deep cycles at one-month-old
  • Returing to work at 3-months-old (or whenever)
  • Increasing distractibility at 4-months-old
  • Starting solids and biting at 6-months-old
  • Beginning stranger anxiety at 9-months-old
  • Learning to walk at 12-months-old

Learn about these events and how to prepare mothers for this exciting (and sometimes) challenging transitions. Hear real-life moms and dads describe their growing awarenss of how their child develops and their continued passion to breastfeed.
